Fire Mitigation
Fire mitigation reduces wildfire risk by managing excess vegetation, protecting homes and infrastructure, and creating healthier, more resilient forests while improving safety for communities and firefighters.
Mastication
Mastication is a highly effective way to clear thick underbrush, dead trees and non-merchantable material. By reducing competition for sunlight and nutrients, it promotes stronger, healthier trees. This process transforms dense vegetation into mulch that gives back the soil while enhancing long-term resilience against wildfires.
Logging
Logging plays a critical role in wildfire mitigation and forest health projects, especially in the Rockies where beetle infestations and drought have left millions of acres suffering from dead and dying timber. Marshall Forestry Solutions offers a full range of services, from large-scale clear cuts using high-production equipment to low-impact, selective harvesting designed to minimize ground disturbance while promoting long-term resilience.
Material Production
MFS transforms logs and non-merchantable material into clean grindings and chips, eliminating the need for slash piles. We process existing debris into usable biomass such as boiler fuel or mulch products, ensuring your property is left clean, safe, and environmentally sustainable.
Consulting Services
MFS provides expert consulting to help landowners and organizations develop strong, competitive plans for grant applications and land management. The MFS team brings years of field experience and technical insights to ensure your forestry goals are met with precision and regulatory compliance.

ACRES MANAGED & IMPROVED
Our sister company, The Mill, located in Kremmling, Colorado, plays an important role in our operations and helps set us apart from the competition. Having a dedicated outlet for merchantable timber allows us to fully utilize valuable material generated from our projects while supporting responsible forest management.
The Mill produces locally sourced Lodgepole Pine, Douglas Fir, Engelmann Spruce, and Aspen, and operates one of Colorado’s only circular sawmills. By keeping this process close to home, we support local markets, reduce waste, and ensure that high-quality timber from our forests continues to serve communities across the region.
